ST8 of Grace · The Mind-Body Studio

Aerial Yoga
in Dehradun.

Stretch, invert and unwind on the hammock — mobility, decompression and recovery for every level.

01 · What it does

What thehammock does.

Aerial yoga takes the postures you know — and a few you don't — into a soft, suspended hammock. The fabric carries part of your weight, so your body can finally let go.

02 · Your first class

Your firstclass.

No experience needed — most people who step into our aerial studio have never touched a hammock. Your first session starts low and slow: your coach sets the fabric at hip height, shows you how it holds you, and builds from there. Expect a gentle warm-up, supported stretches, your first easy inversion when you're ready — and a few minutes cocooned in the fabric at the end that members describe as the deepest rest of their week.

Wear fitted layers that cover the backs of your knees and your underarms — leggings and a snug tee or long-sleeve are perfect. No zips, buckles or jewellery, as they can catch the fabric. Classes run in small batches under a certified aerial instructor, so you're seen, spotted and supported for every minute you spend in the air.

03 · Aerial at ST8

Aerial, theST8 way.

Aerial at ST8 happens on a dedicated rig with our signature lime silks — rated hardware, generous ceiling height and matted flooring beneath every hammock. It lives inside our Mind-Body studio as ST8 of Grace, the calmer side of the academy, sharing a floor with Yoga (ST8 of Calm) and Mat Pilates (ST8 of Balance).

Many members pair all three: yoga for breath and flexibility, Pilates for deep core control, aerial for decompression and play. And if you hold an adult all-access membership, aerial is already included — no add-ons, no extra fees. One roof, one standard, and a quieter way to move.

04 · Memberships

Simple pricing.

Aerial Yoga is its own plan — ST8 of Grace, ₹2,500/month for two coached sessions a week, bought on its own or held alongside a movement membership. Start with a free trial class and feel the hammock before you decide anything.

05 · Aerial FAQs

Beforeyou fly.

Yes — it's one of the most beginner-friendly ways to start yoga. The hammock supports your weight, your coach sets it low for your first sessions, and every progression is optional. Small batches mean your instructor has eyes on you for the whole class.

Our hammocks and rigging are rated far beyond any bodyweight — several hundred kilograms per point. Rather than a fixed number, your coach assesses your comfort, mobility and any past injuries in your first session, and scales every pose to suit you.

Fitted layers that cover the backs of your knees and your underarms — leggings and a snug t-shirt or long-sleeve top work best. Avoid zips, buckles, buttons and jewellery, which can snag the fabric. Classes are practised barefoot.

The hammock changes your relationship with gravity. Poses that compress on the mat become traction in the air — the spine lengthens, stretches deepen safely, and inversions happen without load through your neck or wrists. Many members keep both: mat for grounding, aerial for release.
